PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part structure of a straddle-type vehicle such as a motor cycle, that can secure the strength of an attaching part for attaching a plate member to a vehicle body even in the case that a lower part of a headlight is covered with a headlight cover. SOLUTION: The front part structure of the straddle-type vehicle includes a headlight 50, a front number plate 70 arranged below the headlight 50, a plate member attaching stay 80 for attaching the front number plate 70 to a vehicle body side, and a lower surface covering part 63 for covering the headlight 50. The lower surface covering part 63 covers a lower part of the headlight 50. The plate member attaching stay 80 includes a pair of right and left fixing parts 821 fixed to a lower surface of the lower surface covering part 63 at two right and left portions along a width axis of the vehicle body, and a central fixing part 813 serving as the center of the plate member attaching stay along the width axis of the vehicle body and fixed to the lower surface of the lower surface covering part 63 in front of the pair of right and left fixing parts 821.
