PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for polishing a flat plate display panel capable of outstandingly shortening a cycle time of a step by efficiently arranging respective steps according to a flow of a panel. SOLUTION: The method for polishing the flat plate display panel includes to suck the panels by a first picker 20, to align the panels in such a state that the first picker sucks the panel S, to place the panels on a table 40, to polish both side short sides (or long sides) of the panel, to rotate the table by 90°, to polish the both side long sides (or short sides) of the panel and to unload the panels.
