PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus and a remote operation support system for reducing a user's getting worse in feeling such as visually induced motion sickness because of an image photographed by a camera even in the case of high-speed movement or shake of a head part in a head-mounting camera. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus 1 includes: an attachment unit 10 attached to the head part; a photographing unit 20 for photographing a subject; an angular velocity sensor unit 30 for detecting an angular velocity of the head part; and a video display control unit 63 for detecting a change in the photographing direction of the photographing unit 20 on the basis of an angular velocity of the head part detected by the angular velocity sensor unit 30 and restricting switching of videos of the subject in displaying a video of the subject photographed by the photographing unit 20 in the case that the detected change in the photographing direction of the photographing unit 20 is a reciprocal movement along a prescribed direction within a prescribed first time.
