PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which an image display panel does not drop out from a fixing tool, even when a housing is degraded with time in a state where it is fixed to the fixing tool. SOLUTION: The image display device which can be installed by fixing to the fixing tool attached to a fixed position, includes the image display panel 1, and the housing 2 for accommodating the image display panel 1. The image display panel 1 is fixed inside the housing 2 by screwing into a rear section of the image display panel 1, as a screw member 7 is inserted through a rear face wall 22 of the housing 2, while an image display window is provided in a front face wall of the housing 2 so that a screen of the image display panel 1 may be viewable from outside. The image display device also includes a connection member 5 which is to be connected to the fixing tool, and at least a part of the connection member 5 is positioned between the rear face wall 22 of the housing 2 and a rear section of the image display panel 1, and the screw member 7 is screwed into the rear section of the image display panel 1 by inserting through the rear face wall 22 of the housing 2 and the connection member 5.
