PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for an electrical connection and a connector, using the same which can reduce positional shift of a contact part and a cover part in a width direction. SOLUTION: The terminal for electrical connection includes a flat plate-like extending part 5, which is arranged on one end side of a terminal body part 4 so as to extend in an insertion and removal direction of a counter part terminal 21, has a contact part 2 formed on one end side, and has a cover part 3 and a long hole 5a as an opening part 3a of the cover part 3 formed between the contact part 2 and the terminal body part 4. The contact part 2, arranged on one end of the extending part 5, is folded on one end side in a longitudinal direction of the extending part 5, and since the one end side of the extending part 5 in the longitudinal direction, includes the contact part 2, is folded onto other end side of the extending part 5 in the longitudinal direction from a longitudinal center of the long hole 5a, the contact part 2 and the cover part 3 are mutually folded in a same direction (the longitudinal direction of the extending part 5), and the contact part 2 and the cover part 3 can be aligned mutually, without producing positional shifts in the width direction.
