PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which the erroneous determination of a short circuit can be prevented at a normal time when motor wiring is not short-circuited in a motor control device.
SOLUTION: A seat belt control device monitors a controlled value within a non-locking period representing within a period until a motor is locked as a driven object is locked after the motor is operated, determines whether or not the controlled value exceeds an overcurrent reference value set to a value larger than a target value of feedback control (S320), and determines that the motor wiring is short-circuited when the controlled value exceeds the overcurrent reference value (S210, S220). That is, a short circuit of the motor wiring is determined before the motor is locked by utilizing such a property that, in a state that the motor wiring is not short-circuited, the controlled value may exceed the overcurrent reference value when the motor is locked, but a possibility that the controlled value exceeds the overcurrent reference value is low in a state that the motor is not locked (within the non-locking period).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
