<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently manufacturing a disposable diaper including first and second three-dimensional gathers, in which the first and second three-dimensional gathers are fixed in different shapes at the longitudinal front and back end parts of an absorbent body. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is the method for manufacturing a diaper 1A including the first and second three-dimensional gathers 5 and 6, in which the fixing states of the first and second three-dimensional gathers 5 and 6 are different at the abdominal side portion A and back side portion B of the absorbent body 3. The manufacturing method includes: a fold-down step of folding down free end parts 105a and 106a of a strip-like member 105 for forming the first three-dimensional gathers and a strip-like member 106 for forming the second three-dimensional gathers; a first bonding step of bonding the folded-down free end parts 105a and 106a to the upper surface of the absorbent body continuum 103; and a re-folding step of raising the folded-down free end part 106a of the strip-like member 106 for forming the second three-dimensional gathers, and folding it again toward the outer side in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
