<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct drive motor in which reduction in thickness in an axial direction is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: In the direct drive motor having a general configuration as this kind of direct drive motor, a bearing 3 has a structure in which flanges 31a, 32a as attaching margins are integrally formed on an outer wheel 31 and an inner wheel 32, an attaching surface 32b as one end side of the axial direction of the flange 32a of the inner wheel 32 is fixed to a shaft 2, an attaching surface 31b as one end side of the axial direction of the flange 31a of the outer wheel 31 is fixed to a casing 1, and the other end sides 31c, 32c in the axial direction are supported in cantilever fashion so as to be free ends by the attaching surfaces 31b, 32b as one end side in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
