<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method in use of a composition for treating chondropathy in osteoarthropathy. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a drip-feed administration in the joint, of a viscoelastic solution comprising sodium hyaluronate and sodium chondroitin sulfate. The molecular weight of chondroitin sulfate or the pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof is 20,000 to 50,000 daltons, and that of sodium hyaluronate is 500,000 to 1,000,000 daltons.
