<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting the analysis of a running method, the device being suitable for analyzing an athlete or the like who runs a short running distance at running and being easy to handle and compact. <P>SOLUTION: The device for supporting the analysis of a running method includes a microwave Doppler sensor 11, an computation part 13 which executes computation processing on the basis of a Doppler signal outputted from the microwave Doppler sensor, a display part 14 which outputs a result of computation executed by the computation part 13, and a storage device 15. The computation part is provided with a speed-computing function which always takes in Doppler signals and executes frequency analysis to repeatedly compute speeds, a function which stores the computed speeds in the storage device, and a function which finds the speed distribution of the speeds, which is associated with the elapse of time, from the speeds stored in the storage device.
