PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media feed apparatus in consideration of the attitude of media to be fed to the feeding direction of the media. SOLUTION: The media feed apparatus 42 includes: a mount (8) on which the media (P2, P3) to be fed are mounted; a feeder (35) which feeds the media to be fed (P2, P3) mounted on the mount (8) to the feeding direction Y; an edge guide (11) which contacts the edge of the media (P2, P3) mounted on the mount (8) in the widthwise direction X and determines the positions of the media to be fed (P2, P3) in the widthwise direction X; and an adjusting means (13) which adjusts the attitude of the media (P2, P3) in the feeding direction Y by at least partially changing the position of the edge guide (11).
