PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic functional material which solves the problems of the characteristic instability and toxicity of organic UV rays absorbents and has larger weatherability, phototransformation effects, and thermal effect to solar light than those of oxide semiconductors, or a product using the material. SOLUTION: The organic functional material is characterized by comprising an organic resin, fiber or organic polymer film containing nanodiamond semiconductor particles having an activation energy level of 0.2 to 1.0 eV, and using an ultraviolet rays-absorbing effect due to the carry excitation of the nanodiamond semiconductor particles and infrared rays radiations due to the return of the excited carrier to a ground state, or a product using the organic functional material.
