PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a davit device which elevates and lowers both a general cargo and a boat by one device, and elevates and lowers the boat safely. SOLUTION: The davit device includes a crane 1 having a boom, a cargo handling winch 7 and cargo handling sheaves 11a, 11b, 11c, and an elevating/lowering device 30 for elevating/lowering a boat 60. The elevating/lowering device 30 includes a fixed side davit boom 31, a movable side davit boom 32 in which one end thereof is provided turnable with respect to one end of the davit boom, a davit boom turning mechanism for turning the movable side davit boom 32, an elevating/lowering winch 34 for winding/unwinding a rope for elevating the boat, and elevating/lowering sheaves 35a, 35b provided on the other end of the fixed side davit boom 31 and the other end of the movable side davit boom 32, respectively, to guide the rope for elevating the boat.
