PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive particle that can be manufactured easily and that provides high insulation reliability when used as a conductive particle forming an anisotropic conductive adhesive, while also maintaining sufficiently high conductivity between electrodes connected together, even after a moisture absorption test. SOLUTION: The conductive particle 5 includes a plastic core; a polymer electrolyte layer covering the plastic core; a metallic particle adsorbed to the plastic core via the polymer electrolyte layer; and an electroless metal-plated layer formed around the plastic core to surround the metallic particle.
