PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase reliability in electrical continuity between a connection pad of a head slider and a connection terminal of a suspension in a test of the head slider. SOLUTION: The suspension for slider DET includes a holder for holding the head slider. The holder includes a clamp for holding the head slider and stoppers 59a. 59b for supporting the head slider. The stoppers are arranged separately with the connection terminals 53a to 53f of MEMS. Accordingly, the stoppers do not contribute to the signal transmission of the head slider. Stopper surfaces are covered with gold layers similar to surfaces of the connection terminals. Thus, a change in the pressing amount of the connection terminals at the mounting of the head slider is reducible, and a change in a contact load to the connection pad of the head slider of the connection terminal is reducible.
