PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate the burden of a measuring person for a multichannel analyzer. SOLUTION: The multichannel analyzer detects a peak of a signal to be measured, based on sampling data obtained by sampling the signal with a prescribed clock, and acquires a peak value. The analyzer includes a trigger detecting part which compares the signal to be measured with a prescribed trigger level and generates a trigger signal, a peak detecting part which measures a first clock number being the number of clocks from a point of time of generation of the trigger signal at the point of time of peak detection, a time information acquiring part which acquires a second clock number being the number of clocks from a start signal inputted from outside to the point of time of generation of the trigger signal, and a time information processing part which calculates a third clock number being the number of clocks from the start signal to the point of time of peak detection by summing up the first and second clock numbers.
