PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly install leather in a base material by a simple manufacturing process in a shift knob formed with a leather in a base material. SOLUTION: A shift knob 1 is provided with: a base material 3 equipped with a barrel-shaped site 9; and a leather 15 configured to cover the side face of the barrel-shaped site 9, a first ring-shaped face 25 formed at a part of a bottom face 19 of the barrel-shaped site 9 and a second ring-shaped face 27 formed at a part of an upper face 17 of the barrel-shaped site 9, and to curve like a wave by repeating approaching and separating from the bottom face 19 and the upper face 17 on the ring-shaped faces 25 and 27 in their circumferential directions.
