PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply suitable pre-load to a taper roller bearing. SOLUTION: A pre-load adjusting mechanism 5 of taper roller bearing 46, which freely rotatably supports a rotor 41 housed within a support 2 equipped with a cylindrical section 21 in which female screw is formed in inner circumferential surface with respect to the cylindrical section 21, is equipped with: an adjusting nut 51, in which a male screw 511 and plurality of V-shaped in cross-section groove 2 are formed in periphery, applies pre-load to the taper roller bearing 46 by screwing the male screw 511 to a female screw 211 formed in an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical section 21; a screw hole 53 formed in penetration from a periphery to the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical section 21 so that it may open to a groove 52 when the adjusting nut 51 is screwed to the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical section 21; a ball 54 interfit into the groove 52 through the screw hole 53; and bolt 55 which regulates a rotation of the adjusting nut 51 by pushing the ball 54 to the groove 52 by screwing to the screw hole 53.
