PURPOSE: A hangover reducing food composition containing a lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is provided to cure a fatty liver, and to prevent hepatitis, hepatocirrhosis, and liver cancer. CONSTITUTION: A hangover reducing food composition contains a lithospermum erythrorhizon extract as an active ingredient. The lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is obtained by the following steps: dipping 1kg of lithospermum erythrorhizon into 5L of 50% ethanol, for extracting at 50deg C for 10hours; removing extraction residues; and compress-concentrating the obtained extract for removing an extraction solvent to obtain the solid lithospermum erythrorhizon extract.
