PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary seal which prevents finger tips from getting stained when changing print letters on the endless printing belt. SOLUTION: The rotary seal includes a holding tube 1 which covers the rotary seal body 10 and is provided in a vertically slidable manner to the rotary seal body 10. The holding tube 1 has communication window holes 1b formed thereon in a vertical direction. An operation member 7 integrally formed of the vertically extending contact portion 7a and the operation button 7c protruding from the middle of the contact portion 7a is located adjacent and opposed to the outer edge position of the operation disk 12a of the contact portion 7a and is engaged with the communication window holes 1b. When pressing the operation button 7c and sliding the holding tube 1 vertically with the contact portion 7a contacting the outer edge position of the operation disk 12a, the rotor 12 rotates, thereby changing the print letters located at the stamping position on the endless printing belt 15.
