PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow type mattress, having high cooling effect and dehumidifying effect. SOLUTION: The bed pad 11 is laid on a horizontal surface for allowing a sleeping person to go to bed, in which the air having temperature lower than the body temperature is circulated through the interior thereof to lower the body temperature of the sleeping person. The air flowing into the interior of the bed pad 11 is controlled to a predetermined humidity before inflow, and the air controlled to the predetermined humidity is discharged from a plurality of discharge openings 11a formed on the upper surface of the bed pad 11 toward the sleeping person.
