PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle communication system that prevents relay delay when data are relayed between different in-vehicle networks. SOLUTION: In the in-vehicle communication system 100, a time-triggered communication network 21 and an event-driven communication network 41 are connected via a gateway. The system includes: a preferential transmission means 26 that sets a predetermined priority to a synchronous frame transmitted from the time-triggered communication network and transmits it to a CAN (Controller Area Network) network; and a transmission means 40 that transmits transmission data to a FlexRay network upon being triggered by reception of the synchronous frame.
