PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of printing accuracy caused by thermal deformation of a mechanical structure. SOLUTION: A gate type support frame 22 is installed straddling over a guide rail 14 provided over a trestle 13, wherein a roll holding frame 25 freely rotatably holding a blanket roll 20 is arranged at the inside and is mounted through a vertical linear guide 23a. On the beam material 24 in the upper part of the support frame 22, there is formed a jack 26 comprising a driving motor 28 and a gear box 29 that are installed through a bracket 32 of a welded rib structure having less cross sectional areas for heat transfer, a vertical screw shaft 27 that is connected to the output side thereof, and a nut member 30, wherein the nut member 30 is mounted on the roll holding frame 25 to form the pressure applying apparatus 19. Even if the driving motor 28 is heated when a printing pressure is applied to the blanket roll 20 by the jack 26, the route of the heat transfer is designed to pass through the bracket 32, so that the amount of heat transferred to the support frame 22 is reduced.
