PURPOSE: A temperature and strain measuring sensor is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and processed by measuring temperature and strain by using a light source and a Bragg grid. CONSTITUTION: A temperature and strain measuring sensor comprises a pumping light source, an erbium added optical fiber(130), a first spectrum analyzer, a Bragg grid(150) and a second spectrum analyzer. The erbium added optical fiber generates the amplified spontaneous emission light after receiving the pumping light from the pumping light source. The first spectrum analyzer measures the peak wavelength change of amplified spontaneous emission light for the external temperature measurement. The Bragg grid reflects the specific wave of the amplified spontaneous emission light. The second spectrum analyzer measures the change of the around wave length of the light reflected to from the Bragg grid in order to measure external strain.
