PURPOSE: An orthodontic bracket is provided to prevent damage to teeth and to facilitate detachment thereof by installing a metal base plate. CONSTITUTION: An orthodontic bracket comprises a main body(10), a U-type metal slot unit(20), and a metal base plate(30). The main body is attached to teeth and forms a groove(11) so that the front and back thereof can communicate with each other. The U-type metal slot unit is installed in the groove. Both ends of the U-type metal slot unit are bent so that an accepting groove(21) for accepting a wire can be equipped. The metal base plate is installed inside the bottom surface of the main body.
