摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an active material for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode where generation of a corrosive gas can be controlled in the process of manufacturing lithium manganate as the active material for the lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing lithium manganate as the active material for the lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode, includes a solution generation step of generating solution to which a thickener agent distributes a lithium compound and a manganese compound, a heating step of atomizing the solution generated in the solution generation step, heating the mist of the atomized solution and producing a lithium manganate precursor, and a step of firing the lithium manganate precursor produced in the heating step and producing lithium manganate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
