<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method which are capable of subjecting image data including a chroma key or a luma key to suitable image processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a main decoding part which decodes a chroma key of main data out of input image data; a sub-decoding part which decodes a chroma key of sub-data; an image pre-combining part which combines decoded image data before image quality adjustment; an image quality adjustment part which adjusts the image quality of image data output from the main decoding part or composite image data output from the image pre-combining part; an image combining part which combines image data after the image quality adjustment and image data output from the sub-decoding part; and a path control part which controls a path of data so that image quality adjustment processing is performed after combination of data in the case that there is a high probability that input image data includes a chroma key, and only decoded main data is subjected to image quality adjustment processing in the case that there is a low probability that input image data includes a chroma key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
