<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position an exposure unit while inserting the exposure unit in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Two guides 89 formed of a sheet metal or the like are respectively fixed in frames existing on a Y(+) side and a Y(-) side of space in which an image exposure unit 5 is inserted out of the frames of an apparatus body 40. Protrusions at both ends in the longitudinal direction of a first supporting pin 71 move in an X(-) direction while coming into contact with a lower side (Z(-) side) surface of each guide 89 when the image exposure unit 5 is inserted. Accordingly, the image exposure unit 5 is inserted in the image forming apparatus 1 while the housing 50 of the image exposure unit is pressed to a downward direction (Z(-) direction) by the guide 89 so that the first supporting pin 71 may not rise to an upper side (Z(+) side) than the lower side surface of the guide 89. The image exposure unit 5 is fixed in the image forming apparatus 1 by fixing the first supporting pin 71 and fixing a second supporting pin 75 in this order, after a positioning protrusion 68 is inserted in an insertion groove provided on a supporting plate 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
