PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device and a method of driving the same, and a camera system which can suppress circuit noise which occurs in a bias voltage generating circuit causing image deterioration and an external noise which is generated from a device external portion and goes around to a column processing system, without adding external capacity. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging device has pixel-signal reading portions 130, 150, 60, and 170 reading an pixel signal from a pixel portion 110 and including an A/D conversion function performing A/D conversion; voltage sampling portions 190 and 200 performing period sampling to a bias voltage generated by a voltage generating circuit, based on a control signal and supplying the sampled bias voltage to a pixel signal reading portion; and a control portion 140. The pixel-signal reading portion includes a function portion which operates by a supply of the generated bias voltage, and the control portion controls the voltage sampling portion, to perform voltage sampling from among at least one period of an analog-signal reading period and an A/D conversion period.
