PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment holding tool (7) which facilitates state transition of a grip belt and a hand strap, has no projecting portion from a main body and makes it difficult to release engagement without being intended. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment holding tool is attached to both of two holding parts (8) and (9) provided so that at least one of them may have an attachable/detachable structure in a body part (1) of electronic equipment (50), to function as the grip belt of the electronic equipment (50), and is attached to only one of them, to function as the hand strap of the electronic equipment, and includes a belt (7b) and a hook part (7c) through which the belt is inserted and which is detachably attached to the holding part (9) provided to have the attachable/detachable structure. The hook part has a base part (7k) having a hole (7c1) through which the belt is inserted and an aperture (7c3), and includes a bracket part (7c2) formed to project from the base part, a slider (7c5) made movable to advance to/retreat from the aperture, and an energizing member (7c6) energizing the slider to move in a direction where the opening area of the aperture is made the smallest.
