PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus of a turbo-coding which is unnecessary to retransmit overall whole packet of L-bit, when a packet causes an error. SOLUTION: In addition to a pair of coding bit prepared using a turbo-coding system, a pair of punctured coding bits are prepared to be memorized in a memory of a transmitter. A pair of the former coding bit is transmitted to a receiver as a an L-bit data packet, and the receiver stores a received data sample correspondent to a pair of the coding bit. The receiver determines whether it is a data packet having an error. If it is so, additional information is requested. The punctured information is transmitted from the transmitter to receiver. A new data sample is combined with the stored former data sample received.
