PURPOSE: A UV curable paint is provided to improve the dispersibility of carbon nanotubes within ultraviolet paints by adding modified carbon nanotubes, to shorten a complex process, and to reduce electrostatic discharge and cycle time. CONSTITUTION: A UV curable paint comprises a carbon nanotube-modified composition with excellent dispersibility. A method for manufacturing the UV curable paint comprises a carbon nanotube-modified composition comprises the steps of: mixing carbon nanotube, styrene, nonpolar organic solvent, and initiator, mixing them, and drying the mixture through a vacuum oven to modify the carbon nanotube; and adding the reformed carbon nanotube to a urethane acrylic UV curable paint and dispersing them through sonication. |
