PURPOSE: A ticket collecting and examining device is provided to improve the convenience of a user and an operator by displaying maintenance and repair information and boarding and alighting information. CONSTITUTION: A ticket reading unit(210) reads the ticket information of a passenger, updates the ticket information, and records the updated information on the ticket. An information display unit(240) operates at a user mode or operator mode. A control unit(260) receives the ticket information from the ticket reading unit and determines the validity of the ticket and the mode of the information display unit. The control unit provides the information of the ticket reading unit and the information display unit to a station unit monitoring system or central computerization system.
