PURPOSE: A switch device is provided to implement various functions by generating various electric signals according to the current change of a light receiving unit due to the movement of a reflector using a light emitting unit and the light receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: A switch device includes a housing(100), a light emitting unit(E), a light receiving unit(D), and a controller. The housing is comprised of a housing body(110) and a housing cover(120). A base plate is mounted in the housing to fix and support various components. The light emitting unit is arranged in the housing and emits light to pass through an optical pad(400). A contact sensing unit(800) is combined with one side of the optical pad to check whether a reflector is contacted with the optical pad and applies a contact sensing signal to the controller.
