DOUBLE SUCTION TYPE CENTRIFUGAL FAN AND AIR CLEANER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A double suction type centrifugal fan and an air cleaner using the same are provided to adjust the amount of air flowing to both sides of an impeller by arranging a flow rate adjusting plate along the axial direction of the impeller. CONSTITUTION: A double suction type centrifugal fan comprises an impeller(120) and a casing(140). The impeller generates an air flow to discharge air, inhaled in an axial direction, to the outside in a radial direction. The casing accepts the impeller. A suction port(142) is formed in the casing to axially correspond to both sides of the impeller. An exhaust port(144) is formed in the casing to radially correspond to one side of the impeller. A flow rate adjusting plate(160) is movably installed inside the impeller.
