PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provide to suppress the protrusion of a center pin by relieving impact force in the collision of center pins since one end of the center pin is deformable in the collision with the inner side of a can or a cap assembly. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) includes: an electrode assembly; a can(140) accommodating the electrode assembly; and an insulation part which is arranged at one end part of the electrode assembly and the other part facing one end. The insulation part is expendable by the liquid filled inside the can. A component absorbing the liquid and a component which does not absorb the liquid are mixed in the insulation part. The component absorbing the liquid is polyethylen terephthalate or polyvinylidene fluoride. |
