THERMAL GENERATOR WITH MAGNETO-CALORIC MATERIAL

The generator (1) has a heat module (10) comprising magnetocaloric elements (2) placed in adjacent manner in circle around a central axis. A coolant circulation unit (4) circulates the coolant e.g. water, between the elements and hot and cold exchange chambers (5, 6). The circulation unit is synchronized with magnetic field variation for moving coolant inside the module in two opposite directions such that fractions of the coolant circulate in directions of heat and cold exchange chambers across the elements subjected to heating and cooling cycles, respectively, and vice versa.
