PURPOSE: An accident recording apparatus using vehicle information and images is provided to preserve the circumstances of an accident completely by generating a top-view image composed of four images that are received from four cameras for photographing the front, rear, right, and left sides of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An accident recording apparatus using vehicle information and images comprises cameras(20), an external sensor(30), an input unit(12), a GSP module(11), a wireless communication module(15), and a gravity sensor. The cameras are installed on the front, rear, right, and left sides of a vehicle and take surrounding images. The external sensor is installed in one side of the vehicle and detects vehicle driving related information. The input unit receives the images from the cameras, the detection data of the external sensor, and vehicle diagnosis data. The GSP module detects the current position of the vehicle. The wireless communication module transmits and receives accident related data to/from a central control center and receives firmware renewal data from outside. The gravity sensor senses the occurrence of an accident.
