Bridging lines provided between the two stubs of the bus subscribers engaged at a network and are switched between the two bus subscribers based on interruption of the bus subscribers. The bus subscribers comprise a unit for detecting the interruption of the bus subscribers. The bridging lines are arranged between the bus subscribers at a region of a transceiver module of the bus subscribers. The device comprises control devices (SG-A-SG-E).
