PURPOSE: A rudder for a ship and a ship including the same are provided to prevent corrosion which may be possibly generated on the outer face of a rudder stock and the inner side of a rudder trunk by coating the outer face of the rudder stock and the inner side of the rudder trunk. CONSTITUTION: A rudder for a ship(30) comprises a hollow rudder trunk, a rudder stock, and a rudder blade. The rudder trunk is extended downward. The rudder trunk is installed in the stern of the ship. The rudder stock penetrates the rudder trunk and is extended downward. The rudder blade is combined with the bottom of the rudder stock, projected through the rudder trunk. The outer face of the rudder stock and the inner side of the rudder trunk, which faces the outer face of the rudder stock are coated.
