PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing a respiratory movement signal are provided to analyze a respiratory pattern capable of determining a respiratory movement signal within a short time. CONSTITUTION: A respiratory movement signal related to a respiratory movement is received(110). The amplitude information of the respiratory movement signal and the time information corresponding to the amplitude information are detected(120). The respiratory movement is analyzed on the basis of the amplitude information and the time information corresponding to the amplitude information. The detection step includes the step of band-pass-filtering the respiratory movement signal and the step of setting a threshold for detecting the amplitude.
