The gripper has a housing (3) with a vacuum-suction device (4), where the vacuum-suction device comprises a perforated strip with sufficient bending elasticity. An end of the strip is fixed at a lower side of the gripper and is supported at a lower edge of the housing. The vacuum-suction device for storage of a solar-film strip on a carrier substrate i.e. glass plate, is bendable in dimension toward a storage position by a mechanical device. A roller of the mechanical device extends over width of the vacuum-suction device within the housing and is made up of metal, plastic or rubber.
