PURPOSE: A parking assist system with a rear camera is provided to simplify and miniaturize the structure of the parking assist system by unifying components which perform overlapped functions. CONSTITUTION: A parking assist system comprises an assist unit(200) and a rear camera(100). The assist unit receives information about a shift position and a steering angle from a vehicle controller and a sensor module. When the shift position information corresponds to the backward state of a vehicle, the assist unit estimates the route data of the vehicle depending on the angle information and transmits the route data to the rear camera. The rear camera outputs the parking assist information to a display(50).
