PURPOSE: A carbon nanotube based electric device and a producing method thereof are provided to prevent the damage of an electrode, and to synthesize high quality carbon nanotubes. CONSTITUTION: A carbon nanotube based electric device comprises the following: a conductive substrate(1); a carbon nanotube(4) fixed to the conductive substrate; a carbon-based bonding layer(2) forming the electric connection in between the carbon nanotube and the conductive substrate; and a catalyst layer(3) formed in between the carbon nanotube and the bonding layer.
