PURPOSE: A control method for a temperature sensor of a microwave oven is provided to enable efficient cooking by controlling on/off of a heater according to the actual temperature of a cooking cavity. CONSTITUTION: A control method for a temperature sensor of a microwave oven is as follows. An operating mode of the microwave oven is input(S1). The position of the temperature sensor is changed according to the operating mode, wherein the temperature sensor is transferred to the center of a cooking cavity in case of a heater mode and to a position not causing spark in case of a microwave mode(S2).
