An event control system in which identical or similar events, operated by different. users or operated at different locations, are synchronised to operate independently. Each user or location having its own copy of the event item. An event item including a media content item or non-media item such as control system components, computer system components, pneumatic or hydraulic components, electromechanical components. Each user or location does not need to be connected to each other. All users operate in time synchronisation. The playback time is adjusted to allow synchronisation of the events which may be located at different locations. The system may compensate for a delay in starting playback of media content to determine a start time and playback may jump to the current time position in an item, itinerary or playlist. |
