The housing part (1) has a housing body (6) made of electrically non-conductive or electrically conductive material i.e. plastic, and an electrically conductive coating (7) provided at an inner side and/or an outer side of the part. The electrically conductive coating is made of varnish i.e. conductive varnish. An electrically-insulating coating (8) made of plastic varnish is provided above the electrically conductive coating. The electrically conductive coating and/or the electrically-insulating coating is attached at an inner side and/or a lower side of the housing body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a housing part for a display of a mobile computer.
