PURPOSE: An electric motor is provided to reduce assembling processes and the quantity of components by forming a drainage canal in the case of a motor. CONSTITUTION: An electric motor comprises a motor(120), an impeller(140), and a sealing member(151). The motor comprises a case(121) and a rotary shaft(125). The case is installed inside a housing(110). The rotary shaft is rotatably installed in the case. The impeller is installed on one inner surface of the housing and is rotated by the rotary shaft. The impeller discharges liquid flowing from one side of the housing to the other side. The sealing member is installed on the outer surface of the rotary shaft between one surface of the case and the impeller and prevents the liquid from flowing into the case.
