PURPOSE: An ice making device of a refrigerator is provided to prevent the repulsive force of an elastic member of an operation member from being transferred to a closed door, thereby keeping the door closed. CONSTITUTION: An ice making device of a refrigerator comprises an ice tray, a water tank, a valve(340), an operation member, a restricting member(622), and a release member. The water tank is installed on the top of the ice tray and stores water for one use by ice making. The valve is installed in the water tank to open and close a port for supplying water to the ice tray. The operation member is installed in the water tank and pressed by a refrigerator door rotated to open the valve. The restricting member is formed in the operation member and constrained by one side of the water tank in order to keep the operation member pressed. The release member contacts the operation member when the water tank is drawn out, thereby releasing the restricting member from the water tank.
