<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible electronic endoscope wherein the constitution of a signal transmitting section to detect the bent state of the inserting section flexible tube does not become complicated, and which is easy to handle and has no fear for a wrong connection or the like. SOLUTION: For this flexible electronic endoscope device, a plurality of optical fibers 21 for the bend detection are arranged in a flexible inserting section flexible tube 1 of an electronic endoscope wherein a connector 61 connected with a video-processor 7 is provided. In such a flexible electronic endoscope device, a light-electricity converting means 33 which converts the optical transmission amounts of respective optical fibers 21 for the bend detection into electric signals is arranged in the electronic endoscope. Then, the electric signals related to bend detection of the inserting section flexible tube 1 are transmitted/received between the connector 61 and the video-processor 7.</p> |
